Week 20 Highlights
Left: 19 weeks, 2 days
Below: 20 weeks, 3 days
How far along: 20 weeks
Size of baby: A banana! 6.5 inches from head to rump and 10 inches from head to heel. She measured at 12.5 oz at the 19 week ultrasound when the average baby is only 8.5 oz. I'm a little worried about a big baby like her daddy was.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Still down about 10lbs or so. You can't tell based solely on my belly though!
How I'm Changing: It's uncomfortable to bend over at times. I have a definite baby belly.
Maternity Clothes: LOVE my low-panel maternity jeans from Old Navy! They are so comfy! Their simple maternity tees fit really well too and might make a tee-shirt and jean girl out of me yet. I can still wear many of my non-pregnancy dresses and tops.
Gender: Girl
Movements: A few if I'm really focused. Because I have an anterior placenta, my doctor said I will be able to feel her more in 4 weeks or so. The nice thing is that Blake won't have much longer to wait to feel her from the outside.
Sleep: Pretty normal. I don't need my daily naps anymore.
Symptoms: Still struggling with nausea, throwing up, and severe food aversions. Things are slowly improving. Besides, there are always fruit snacks...
How I'm feeling: Pretty "normal," or at least my pregnancy normal.
What I Miss: Eating!
Cravings: Lemonade, sweet and/or sour things (fruit especially oranges, apples, and grapefruit, Nerds and Sour Patch Kids, fruit snacks, Gushers, sweet and salty granola bars, plain potato chips). I can usually eat Mexican food too. It's amazing to me that I can keep down all this horrible food and not gain weight.
Best Moment of the Week: Bra shopping with my bestie (yay, for better fitting and comfy bras!) followed by a movie and dinner date with our guys.
What I am Looking Forward To: Finally feeling our girl move around, Thanksgiving, and our upcoming vacation!
Yay!! Welcome to the blogging world! Your looking pretty cute! Now if that sweet niece of mine would get the memo you don't want to be sick all the time.. Things would be a lot more
